How Long is the Divorce Mediation Process

Each session ranges from an hour to ninety minutes, or more.  Depending on the issues involved we could be done in one session or several, over a couple of months.  Single issue mediation such as parental visitation tend to take one to two sessions, while mediating a divorce takes longer.  It’s hard to tell for certain because every couple is different.  Generally divorce mediation takes two to five sessions, but ultimately it depends on how quickly you can come to an agreement on each issue.  So “how long” is really up to the parties.  I will work at whatever pace is agreeable and comfortable for you.
